With the official conclusion of the Free Trade Agreement between the Government of the People's Republic of China and the Government of Kingdom of Cambodia and the ongoing promotion of the Belt and Road Initiative, the trade and investment activities between Chinese and Cambodian enterprises are increasing. In order to further upgrade the quality of legal services provided by Tahota lawyers to Chinese commercial entities in Cambodia and better support the development of Chinese enterprises and our global customers, Tahota and Cambodian International Law Firm (C.I.L.F.) jointly launched the online signing ceremony of cooperation recently.

The signing ceremony was attended by H.E. Mr. CHIV Songhak, Secretary of State, Ministry of Justice of Cambodia, Mr. CHIV Bunthai, Director of Cambodia International Law Firm (C.I.L.F.), Mr. Shen Zhijun(Sean), Managing Partner of Tahota Beijing Office, Mr. Xu Junli, Senior Partner of Tahota, Ms. Deng Chunyan(Lily), Counsel of Tahota, and Ms. Chen Xinyi, Brand Executive Director.

The ceremony was hosted by Ms. Deng Chunyan(Lily). At the ceremony Mr. CHIV Bunthai and Mr. Shen Zhijun(Sean) signed the Memorandum of Understanding for and on behalf of both parties. In the future, the two parties will give full play to their respective legal resources and special advantages, and have more intensive exchanges with respect to managerial experience, international customer services and cross-border business, so as to provide more professional localized legal services for Chinese commercial entities in Cambodia.
